Of all my apps (close to 100) this is the worst.Always a problem loading. In order to load I must delete and then download it again. Very often in the middle of reading an article it closes out. Maddening. I hate using it but have no choice if I want to read the paper. It appears that their tech team lacks the know how to correct these problems as I contacted them many times.

The older version was much better. Half the time the stories dont load. And when I go to comments, either the comments from the wrong story load , the app crashes , or you see blank space when you try to load more comments. Hate it

The Newsday app just does not work right at all. The problems I had are the articles dont load and the comments also dont. The app also crashes frequently.

I love the content Newsday publishes, so I stick with this crappy app. Ive written to the email address and got a response telling me nothing more than Im correct, which I already know. The app gets bloated in size, and ends up taking up gigabytes of of your phones memory. The only way to clear the apps downloaded data is to delete & re-install the app. To go on further certain feature articles will say "mobile users click here" mobile users should not need to go thru hurdles for your content. Please take a look at other news apps and learn from their user experience!!!!!! Yours is absolutely the worst.

After just sitting here writing a long detailed review of how unhappy I am with this app and then hitting to submit, comes up with a message that the nickname has been used. Went to give new name and everything I wrote us lost. Only furthers the point of how bad this app is. The paper takes up too much storage space. Each time you open the paper, more space is taken. Eventually causes problems opening up searches on the internet. Paper doesnt always close correctly, so cant open the paper again. Have had to reboot the iPad to clear issues. To get the app to work half way decent, I delete and reaload app once a week. Should not have to.

Update to this app is so much better. App doesnt hang, no crashes. Thanks for fixing.

I updated app today while in the city, was really pleased with the speed of the app, was able to Read article easily and had no crashing issues...app worked really well for me.

I love this app because it gives me all the news thats going on around me on Long Island but now its crashing when I open it as of yesterday they need to fix the crashing

As of the last update I cant get the app to open. I have deleted and reinstalled as well as rebooted my iPad. It will not work!

I like that I can read about LI news from anywhere but reading the same stories every other week is lame ! Im sure Newsday can find new stories without running old news !

Screen goes black than shuts off ...try to turn back on again and says low battery plug my phone to charger turn back up immediatly

This app is bad enough when it is working. Lately, it does absolutely nothing but crash every time I open it. This has been going on at least a week! If this isnt fixed soon, no choice but to delete.. Btw, Hey Newsday- Not everyone has facebook, ya sheep!! its absolutely ridiculous that you joined up with them for the comment section..

The app itself is way to glitchy and crashes often. In addition to that the app has a problem if you are attempting to type in a comment it will jump the screen up moving the text box off the screen where you cant see what you are typing or it will just not allow you to continue. That being said the content of the app is nothing more than self serving drivel based on ultra liberal staff with an obvious agenda. Youll probably be able to find more truth in The Weekly World News app.

This app used to let me download the whole paper for reading on the train. Now it says it downloads, but only the first 14 or so pages come through. Since I pay for a subscription that includes digital access I would like to be able to use it. The last few months, when I am in airplane mode it asks for a password. Then you get an error message because there is no internet to verify password. Turn on wifi, no password Needed. Please fix. If I cant read on my commute, what good is it!
